Asha tolerates people after 2 years of hard steady training. She considers strangers useless unless they have food, and it offends her to stand still for petting. One of my biggest training hurdles was the "stand for exam" in AKC obedience, because that many years ago she was still prone to grumbling or threat barking if someone approached her. She is neutral now, but no, Therapy Dog would be torture for her. To her credit she never growled, barked or was ever offended by little kids, just big people. At parks if there were some running and screaming she watched intently, but more of a wanting to join them and play (which means tackle and knock down). I got her jazzed up playing at this park in the grass with a stick and she got wild in a hurry (her normal) and as I was spinning away she jumped up at me and bit the back of my shoulder hard enough to bruise and leave two scrapes. I started it, and gave her the go-ahead to play hard, so I have no complaints. It's nothing aggressive, just how she plays. 
She was quite content in there. It was a great little playground!
