Random Pet Photo of the Day - 2026

Well the rain looked like it was getting closer so we sat outside with our coffee to watch it come in. It got harder but its coming straight down. I finally went inside. I look out and my husband is still there with a dog that doesn't look real happy. LOL I may have to go rescue her LOL oops now it's raining heavier... they might be coming in!

Yes, South of Castle Rock. Before it became one continuous city from Castle Rock to Denver. I think the area in the SW corner of Colorado is my favorite. Use to drive through that way from Santa Fe to Moab to Elko, NV. Every single time I drove through I thought I should look for a place to live in that area.
I think it's the prettiest area of Colorado, and probably the least known. I tell a Front Ranger that we live in Chromo and they say "whut?" When we had to drive to Denver in late March to take my husband to Pres/St. Luke's, they were waiting for us to get up there and they had no concept of how far away we were (7 hrs drive) and still in the state of Colorado. I think most people on the Front Range think the state ends west of Aspen and Breckenridge. :noob:

We were in Longmont (north of Denver) for 26 years, found this property in 2000 and were finally able to retire and move in 2018.
