Throw Back Thursday

Wow I'd like to look back on my photos to see what kind of snow we had back then. So far this winter we've had maybe 3 in. Right now there's nothing on the ground but they say by Wednesday we could get up to three inches. But then Friday we might get rain.🤷‍♀️
I look forward to seeing if you are able to find any photos from that February....it was a doozy, and I think you are farther south than we were, so perhaps had even MORE snow than this! :woot2:

Another reminder to me what it was like to drive around in that weather....this is January 2015 just before we moved down to TN. This is out in DeKalb on North Avenue...down here everything closes if there is a threat of flurries 🤣

Those are wonderful videos!!! I love her chasing the birds!!!! I used to let my dobes chase the geese in Illinois...we would play ball at soccer fields early in the am, and they would enjoy getting a flock of geese off the playing field
Look at Kali go....bittersweet I am sure.

My mom retired about a month ago and is apparently going through "stuff" today.

This must be from 2003? 2004? My style was unmatched lol that's my younger brother in the bucket hat in the picture in the background

Amber was a really good pony. He and I palled around everywhere on my Grandparents property

She's still going lol

Brandy (the only white horse [pictured with my grandfather]) was the OG I remember when super young.

Smokey was second; the gray/appaloosa in the top left and bottom (don't @ me about my heels and cleats LOL).

Far Left with the large blaze is another of Amber (the third and most rideable). Heels are looking better.

The red pony with the smaller white blaze must've been someone elses we were visiting.

The picture on the right (don't @ me about being in shorts!) is a Peruvian Paso! My grandparents were friends with a couple who had a few PPs and I got to ride with them a couple of times.
