Some pictures from the past week. We went to a UKC show and Remy won the guardian group twice. We ended up leaving early though because of the weather. An outdoor show in 90 degree, high humidity weather with minimal shade was not exactly enjoyable for either of us…
These weren’t in focus, but I still liked them enough to share. This one made me laugh. He loved this football and wasn’t able to pop it, which is a plus!Went out for a walk and he decided to stretch out in the grass.

As someone who has never shown in AKC but participates plenty in UKC, conformation and otherwise, I would love to read your experiences of the differences, if you notice any and would wish to maybe start a thread on it.

I will work on a thread and get that posted soon! I haven’t done any sports in UKC yet, so I’ll stick to the differences between conformation in both venues for now. I am hoping to do some UKC nosework trials, and possibly weight pull as well in the future though.

It’s great! We’ve done it in AKC, but haven’t gotten the chance to do any UKC events yet. So far in AKC he finished his overall novice title and has a Q towards the advanced interior title. I’m looking at some trials in November/December to enter! It’s been 18 months since our last one.

I’m going to order him a harness soon and start training. I’ve been waiting for the weather to cool off some. The only class I found was 2+ hours away, so I’ve been reading and watching a lot of videos online to learn. He knew what to do right away with the bikejoring, so I’m hoping it will be the same with weight pull!

Wow! Do you remember what company you ordered from? I was looking at potentially ordering a custom one from The Working Canine.

I won't name names in public but the one you're thinking of ordering from is not the same one. I ordered from the one our WP instructor recommended but she is no longer recommending them.
