Is there a natural protection for dogs for ticks and flea's.

ou would think that would have put a dent in the bug population.. so thank ful no smoke... .this made last summer really awful
I know, it's one annoyance or another. We've had a couple smokey days this year but the mosquitoes weren't out yet then.

I jumped on the Wondercide train too since the bugs are sooo bad this year. Hopefully it can do something for this amount of mosquitoes.
Wondercide order June 9 24.webp

Thank you ..i just got the lemon grass flea and tick .. i will let you know what i think...just putting a tiny bit on their neck today to make sure no one is allergic to ingredients... even natural ingredients could cause allergies in some pups.....

Our order came today too. I got lemongrass for the dogs and cedarwood for humans and they both smell good but I think I like the cedarwood a little better.

Very true.

i am going to get the cedarwood too.. the lemongrass is very potent smell.. i sprayed by the constantly open and closing door and no bugs around....... love it..

i will definitely let you know what i think.. i do not have any in the house so far..... other then one i found in the bathroom..but i know they are out in droves this year... i have them on my arms.. 2 or 3 bites at a time.. Lady and i seem to be susceptible compared to the others..
well this is what i think... after using this lemongrass scent for about 4 days... i cannot get the scent out of my nose... the dogs do not like it... but tolerate it... i see some improvement in less bites but i just cannot stand this smell....... maybe i will try different one but this i will never buy again...also gives me a bit of sore throat and watery eyes.. i would say i am allergic to it.......

I started taking it outside and spraying it on a cloth to wipe the dogs down and the smell was much milder that way. I told hubby not to use it anywhere near the bird no matter what.

I've only bought the peppermint And I think the outside one is Cedar wood. I remember my son coming in my horse barn and he said it smelled like a Cedar Chest! I like both of those.

The human repellent I bought is Cedar and it really does either smell like the woods or a cedar chest. I'll definitely get that for the dogs next time.
I told hubby that he can use the lemongrass to spray in the garages to sort of keep the mosquitoes out of there.

These are just the mosquitoes I trapped between the window and screen when I closed it this morning. There are a million times more outside.
I bought a bug zapper light for the airborne pests. It's first night in operation was last night and I can say there were an impressive amount and number of different pests in the tray that holds the dead ones come morning. Makes a satisfying "CRACK!" when it zaps one too. My property isnt large, which probably helps it to be successful, but I'll take it.

LOL we had one but it went into overdrive with the amount we have out here and burnt itself out in no time.
I bought one of these for in the house and the amazing amount that come in on the dogs and it helps.
