Hello! So first of I’m in Germany so brands aren’t really going to help me much as even eukanuba etc. have different values etc then there! So, here’s my question/ problem!
My girl is finally a year old and I started switching her to the adult food of the brand I had! (Eukanuba Performance)
BUT she’s did not do good on it! The puppy was lamb and rice and even that one wasn’t the best (a lot of pooping and farting
) but after trying 4 foods and this one not causing diarrhea or allergies i stuck with it!
So I’ve always fed eukanuba performance, but they changed sooo much here in the last year…anyways…she had allergies and diarrhea…health wise she’s fine, I had her checked as well and it’s simply the food. She’s allergic to food mites for one, which limits brand for dry food, and can’t eat gluten, chicken is also a no go, as well as a few others…anyways…I’ve finally found a food she’s good on… HOWEVER…she does not get enough energy from it…she is a active working dog! Like not lineage but shes a worked dog! (picture of current food value below)
SO! I was wondering, do any of you have any suggestions what I could possibly look for nutritional value wise?!
Possibly even an idea what I could add to the food for energy? (She also receives salmon oil and „Hanföl“ as well as yucca and ?grape seed oil? And another custom powder that’s like clay stuff I am not even going to try translating that..from vet and trainers advice/other issue/) after switching to this one her energy dropped,.,she’s tired quicker, uninterested in working, just overall pooped out aloooooot quicker! To before she had no issues walking 2h a day and filling up with 1h training (Daily) to now she’s tired half way through the walk… again she’s otherwise healthy.. but I am at loss…the protein value is decent but I know could or can be higher, carbohydrates and fat are pretty low in my opinion due to missing grain… but it’s very hard…I need a food that delivers energy to her yet doesn’t cause allergies or diarrhea…she’s very sensitive, wet food is a NOGO, and raw she can’t eat,..I did consider cooking however pls no suggestion on that I do not have the time, I am just looking for dry food, and what experiences you have?! If you have brands there suggestions are welcome and I can look at the values/ ingredients and find smth similar, however I need help, it’s very overwhelming
So simple: she’s sensitive to alot, including chicken and gluten, has high energy need, has to be dry food. What can I feed or add?! What would I have to pay attention to nutritional value wise?! -and current food is not supplying enough „energy“
Thank you so much in advance
