Buddy in the corn field and lillies are definitely worthy of being on display somewhere.
Wow, really a Samsung? I have the S10E, but dang my lil asshat is quick, I am slow, and she usually has her collar and leash on if is ever a pretty backdrop.
You guys are awesome

I haven't tried my phone, guess I should huh?
I don't really see any difference between your photos and a phone photo and they are nice.
I'm going to be the oddball, but I strictly prefer real cameras, even though phones take okay photos these days. I use my phone some when I'm at work but when I'm on a regular PC with the bigger monitor, I can definitely tell the difference.

I have been using my good Nikon but when I upload here, it always says it’s too big. Then I have to send over to my iPhone and screenshot it to reduce size but it becomes portrait.

Do you know how to reduce size so I can upload to the site?

Most photo programs give you the option to size them down some. Like I said in another thread, you still want it big enough for the calendars but not as big as they come off a better camera. Mine is about a 20 mp and to size it down to about 54% of the original size is about right for the calendars.

Resize the image, don't crop. Sounds like you are cropping it to portrait which will reduce the file size but what you really want is to keep the proportions but reduce the file size. This is usually by selecting a percentage you want to reduce it by, like Jan mentioned. If theres an option, tell it to keep image restraints/proportions when resizing the image.

Mine are all from my Samsung cell phone. I haven't use a camera in a few years. I'd never be posting any pictures if I had to wait for the day I brought my camera with me. My phone is always with me! :)
Some of the new phones are getting such good cameras it makes me kinda sick! lol I'm sticking with my camera but those phones are getting more and more tempting.. Great pics of Buddy, love em!

Do you even lift, bruh? Looking good!

The Nikon I got ooooh... about 10 years ago now has 8 megapixels and takes beautiful pictures. My cell phone has 12.2 megapixels on it's back camera and takes beautiful pictures. It's really convenience because phones have all that focus and lighting adjusting software built right in. Nowadays, it even takes several pictures in a row so if one isn't quite right, another is. Has it made me a lazy 'photog?' Absolutely. Do I love breaking out the ole Nikon here and there and challenging myself a bit? ABSOLUTELY!
