Hi all, I know I ghost a lot and I don't mean to. Here's what Vex and I have been up to this past year. We tried for our EL (Entry Level) in the first annual APPDA Nationals in New Jersey last month. We did not pass due to point loss in protection, but we had a strong showing for the breed in the sport. We have some cleaning up to do in training, but we will be going for our EL again in April in New York and then onto the L1 (Level 1). So far, a Doberman has not passed in this sport. We hope to be the first.

Obedience first, we only lost 4 points total for a 46/50. Similar to PSA PDC with decoy distraction for the first exercise.
Protection is,
Civil Scenario with neutrality, then alert, attack, post alert
Courage Test with plastic noise maker bat (up to 4 hits allowed and frontal)
Neutral greeting with escape bite (bag snatch)
Just for a breakdown.
