That is so cute! Jake is the first Doberman I have ever had that almost never rolls over on his back..He would do it with Flynn a bit but only when they would play..Strange but he just doesn't seem to relax on his back.
Della never does either unless it's a nice warm day outside and she can roll in the grass to relax. Ms. Texas. LOL

Those are great Jan! It was over 100 degrees today and that snow looks mighty good! Wonderful photos all!

It is no darn fun Jan ..even the birds suffer through it.. I try to leave a bit of water running for all the poor critters to cool off. It was just gorgeous here and almost cool for June and then bam! The heat rolled in and no relief in sight at least for the next 5 days..Gorgeous shot, but I don't think I could take those temps.
Jake is still feeling sick too..so I'm worn out. He is only eating half of his normal rations.. Most likely we will be back at the vets Monday if nothing changes for the better.

He is doing awful..He cried out in pain this afternoon and scared me to death! Back from the vet just a bit ago but I think we have found the problem..she is pretty sure it's a pinched nerve in his neck..gave him a laser treatment ..changed all the pain meds to something that would help with inflammation. sigh
I am telling you I could not understand why the pain med he was on didn't seem to settle him at all.. I would give him the last of two doses at 12:30 am and watch him until 3am ..up and down in and out..he could not sleep and yet these were supposed to make him sleepy!.Any way taking him back on Tuesday and Thursday for laser treatments and she reassured me that it would take 6 to 12 weeks but that he is going to be okay..
I am hoping so and praying..still so freaked out over all of it..Oh and it's a 30 minute drive one way to the vet ..my air conditioner quit on me...Jake had some air in the back but I had none!! 111 degrees!

Oh poor baby and you! I am glad the found the problem though and I pray for a quick recovery. I'm so happy he'll be okay though.
