Z List & Pedigrees

Again, I'm sure there are probably some that don't have all the issues that are brought up about Albinos. Personally, with the issues the breed faces now, I would not own one that might add a whole different set of issues on top of the afflictions that reek havoc in the breed that we are trying to reduce. Either would i even a rescue, couldnt or wouldnt take a chance on the extra expenses. To rich for my blood, I guess its like gambling, I dont do that either ;)

OMG Von, when I go out to Biloxi, MS for AKC or UKC shows........all the casinos.... AHHHH.... as few of us usually end up going for a few hours.. as long as you're pulling that arm...... drinks are free......... WAHOOOOOOO! LOL

wow Panama those pics are awesome and I can see what you are talking about. Thanks for finding those :D

In the 1st picture it's pretty hard to make out the markings, but the 2nd one, you can really tell. The markings are much lighter than the rest of the coat. That is what Albino breeders today are calling "Cream". That isn't an option on the registration application.

Due to the shades of white, like the dog in the 2nd picture, years ago, that's probably why some may have been mistaken as being Fawn w/White Markings. More than likely produced by 2 Colored Dobes that carried the Z gene, and the breeder or buyer probably never even gave Albino a thought because both parents were colored. Haven't been able to find anything on that yet. JMO

If you look at two Dobes of the same color, ANY color as long as both are the same color, there will be a difference in the tone/hue/shade of both dogs and the difference might be very slight yet it could also be drastic.
Black: I've seen black & what I'd describe as Raven Black (still a Black Dobe w/rust)
Red: washed red to a deep red some consider chocolate (still a red Dobe w/rust)
Blue: a medium to dark grey to a dark steel blue (still a Blue w/tan Markings)
Fawn: from almost blonde to a medium tan (still a fawn w/tan markings.
Albino: Solid snow white to, hmm, can't even put a color to it...bright white, soft white, off-white, eggshell, beige, antique white, ivory, seashell.... I don't know, pick one!

god i so wish these dogs had a better rep, i so would love to own one. you cant deny they are Beautiful.

Either would i even a rescue, couldnt or wouldnt take a chance on the extra expenses. To rich for my blood, I guess its like gambling, I dont do that either ;)

That first one is a beautiful picture! For me, it's kind of a 'back and forth' thing... I think I'm looking at the dog as a whole, his shape, his ears, his size, are all beautiful, but I can't decide if I like that color. It's like he got skinned ! I have never seen one in real life, but of course, I really don't see Dobermans hardly at all!

thats completly understandable. im not a big blue or fawn fan myself. just my preferance. leans towards reds and Blacks. then i like the white. but cant own one. because the DPCA might skin me ;)

Von?!!!! They only skin members that breed/buy/support/condone the practice of White & Z bred Dobes! They may only send you to the basement with Faber!!!
