Welcome to my custom business! I specialize in apparel and drink wear, but also do decals, blankets, masks, tote bags, collars, dog bowls, plaques, and more!

I mostly run off of fully custom orders- messages with pics and "could you make this?" so feel free to ask!

I will add pics within the next few days as I organize my phone albums! You can also see my work under SJM Vinyl Creations on Facebook, or www.sjmvinylcreations.com (I dont get much website traffic, so I havent been keeping up with it as much as I should be  so there is a lot more on Facebook)

I hope I don’t come off as A hole here, but if I were you?
I’d spend a whole lot less time on FB building them and more time in your own website building YOU!
Not only is there I bit of an exodus from FB, you are more important than that FB scene.
My grandfather was an Oakie from Oklahoma and he had a saying. (He had several actually, but this one fits best here;) )

The helping hand is at the end of your own arm.
And it seems you are capable of using it:thumbsup:
Use it to build you, rather than FB:whistle:

I do wonder about something here:

No doubt that two things in which I'm interested have moved away from websites to social media presences: Breweries and dog breeders. Some newer breweries do not do a website at all! They just set up a f'bk page and post current information there. Seems a lot easier and less expensive. Some dog breeders don't have a website (and honestly, that casts some doubt my direction), while others have a website, but it's not updated very often at all. Current happenings are found on social media – some more on "insta" than the 'book.

My preference is nice, extensive and up-to-date websites (and when it comes to breweries, also having up-to-the hour updates on social media). Websites seem more professional and like the place has their act together; but I see the reasoning behind not investing in a website if your business is bare bones and/or just budding.

The problem is websites are expensive and FB isn't. There's the website it's self, sure lots can build it themselves but there still domain/server fees and of course you have to pay google to get you higher than page 29 of a search. FB is simple, cheap and gets TONS of traffic. So what are most gonna do?

I have been trying to work on it... I just get frustrated because I'm not sure tech savvy lol!! Genny is correct also- I do pay a monthly fee both for my website as well as for my domain. I could pay someone to design the website for me, but when I checked into that, it was several hundred dollars, then they wanted about a hundred per month to maintain it as well!

I do plan to just take a weekend, or a week and sit down and just do it. Probably won't be until I get my surgery for my SCS, as I will HAVE to stop taking orders for at least a week or 2, and I won't have anything else to do at the time lol

I've seen that a lot on breeders as well, when we were searching for Gemma. At least 80% that we looked at didn't have a website!

I'm on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and tiktok... even though I don't really understand any of them besides Facebook

I would warrant most users connect with a phone and a lot of them use apps. Using social media is smart, business wise. Having a site for someone to go through to order from is the icing on the cake. But you can't deny the sheer amount of reach you can make through word of mouth on social media. Its so much easier to put hashtags, someone to share, like or comment your work and be seen than through using just a website alone. Good luck with the business venture! I know the vinyls are HOT right now.

Omg yes social media has been HUGE! I got 2 bulk orders for businesses in California from word of mouth!! Then another girl from that area who isn't a business, but is addicted to tumblers and spends close to $150 per month on new cups for the last 3 months now! She heard about me from the owner of one of those businesses....

Oh, I guess I glossed right over the word vinyl. What's that? It wouldn't be removable bumper stickers would it?
