Ultra Oil Supplement

I haven't added any Omega oil to Kali's diet in a while. There are so many to choose from! Once I started thinking about it, I was confused as to which avenue to go down! LOL.

The girl who owns the Doggy Boutique in town where I get all my dog items suggested this one. The last one I tried was a salmon oil. I can't remember why I stopped. 🤷‍♀️But I've always heard good things about Omega-3,6,9 and was open to any suggestions. So when she told me about this one and gave me a sample I thought I would try it.

She said a lot of people like it because it's doesn't have a fishy odor. So I'm thinking, don't all fish smell like fish?🤔 LOL kind of made me go, hmm. But I figured I'd give it a whirl. Of course Kali loves it and doesn't seem to have any problem with it. But I thought I would throw it out there to see if anybody else was using it or can give me any feedback... good or bad .

Joker, Bart & Diva give Ultra Oil 2 paws up!

Joker has seasonal allergies (seems only around mid-fall) which prompted me to try Ultra Oil. I got it in his system late Spring, and no allergy issues that fall or since.

Diva used to get hot spots. Not any more. Had to introduce it very slow with her though, because anything new gives her the :poop:

Bart will lick it right from the pump!

Well, thank you all! Like @Two Dobes said, I never heard of it! So it's good to see that some are using it with great results !

It's funny the first day I bought it, I forgot to put it on her food! I was talking to my husband about it when I realized, crap! I forgot about it and she had already eaten all her food. So I thought well, let's try this.... and I just poured a little in her empty bowl and she licked it clean! I was happy to see that! No having to conceal it !

And Poop Patrol... so far, so good! 😉

Hey, do you guys refrigerate this oil after you open it? I noticed that it said "for best results refrigerator after first use" in the pamphlet that they gave me. There was nothing written about that on the sample that they gave me. I just bought a full bottle of it and I don't see anywhere on the bottle that it says that. Unless I'm missing it.

Just wondering what you guys are doing with it?

And let me tell you something!

Recently, after Kali's been sleeping for a long time and gets up, I noticed she would slightly limp. But it would go away once she got moving. (Or I said the trigger word, Squirrel! 🤣) Arthritis? That's the usual with arthritis, right? Once you get moving, it feels better? So I assumed that she probably was developing a little arthritis.

Well, once I started this Ultra oil it came to my attention that she wasn't doing that anymore! I started trying to pay attention and really have not noticed the limp! That's insane. I mean, it's good! LOL but wow. Impressive!

So yesterday I went and bought a full bottle (I only had a sample) and I told the girl about it and said I'm sold!

Yes, keep it in the refrigerator. I just checked my bottle and it does say FOR BEST RESULTS REFRIGERATE AFTER FIRST USE.
I just always thought with it being sardine & anchovy oil that it would go rancid if I didn't keep it in the fridge.

You know what's funny, I can't find that statement about refrigerating it on my bottle. :scratch:I even gave it to my husband and said can you find it? LOL He couldn't. If I didn't have the pamphlet I wouldn't know. Although I do think I remember even the salmon oil I kept in the refrigerator. But you would think it would be in bold letters.🤷‍♀️

That's only for us older people. ;)
I know you're trying to be funny, and I get it ( both hubby and I had to grab our readers to see it it! 😵‍💫🤭) but I'm thinking more that it should be in front, not in tiny letters above the UPC code on the back. Or better, actually within the directions. I think spoilage is kinda important.

Still love the product! 😉

We haven't tried the skin and coat one, just the joint formula. Rumor has been on the joint formula since she was about 18 mos or so. More as a prevenative than helping with any joint issues and I have nothing but good things to say about it. She is 7 today and behaves like a little tank and absolutely no slow get ups or any hesitation of any sort. She runs, jumps and acts like she is a bulldozer taking care of HER property.
I will start every future on it young to help prevent and arthritis vs having to treat it after the fact.

Aww Happy Birthday beautiful!
