I know this has probably been discussed before on here but if your feeding sardines packed in water or frozen ones when you can find them does fish oil still need to be supplemented or is 3-4 cans of sardines a week enough ?

If you’re feeding raw fish, you don’t need to give any oil.

So if it’s canned sardines still give fish oil?

You need to feed raw sardines or anchovies or give oil. One or the other. The cans, I don’t know. I purchase mine from a local raw feeding store and they sale them in bags.

I think the ones in the can are cooked? Idk.

I’m trying to find frozen ones here but the canned one are cooked. The problem is I’m way to far inland and in a rural area.
