Rocky still has some.

We brought him home just before Christmas.
Yesterday he saw a lizard in the yard and it was on!

No, he isn’t a bean pole anymore but he isn’t really “fat”.
He has a few fatty cysts here and there, and the ugly histiocytoma on his rump.

He instigates play more than she does to this day Nose poking her ear or chest bumping her.

But he does nap more and naps deeper.
Getting old sucks but he is doing it well.
He’ll gladly nap with me or be outside all day if that’s what I’ve got going on.
He still surprises me sometimes. What he can still do or things he still remembers.
Some things we haven’t done in a few years he instantly falls into step on.

His hips are getting sore the last couple years so I don’t make him pop into a sit like we used to. He will do it but I can see it isn’t comfortable to do.

Oh, and he is still a loud mouth😂

He’s just now getting a very light hint of grey around his whiskers.
Is strange because it’s only in certain lite.
Other angles you see him, there is no grey at all.

I was going to say that he has no grey on his muzzle. I didn't realize he was an older boy as he is still so active! Well done Rocky!

He was almost 2 in December 2013 when we brought him home.

It’s not too often I pimp product here.

Been giving these to Rocky a few months now, off and on.

I’ll say first and upfront.
If I give him the recommended amount daily, he will get some liquid out the back side.😉
One or two a day, and not every day.
I’ve seen an increase in his mobility.

Now he has had a couple incidents, rear end failing.
He was hardly ever going upstairs any more.
He made it almost to the top landing when the rear gave out. Is one of maybe 5 times I’ve heard him whimper from pain.
2 others were caused by Daisy the Red😉

He still doesn’t go up most of the time but I was rather shocked a couple months ago when he just trucked it right upstairs with me.
This after not for a few months.

It was shortly after starting this stuff.
And just before learning about the liquid poo, so.

Mixed feelings there. That’s when I decided to adjust the dosage a bit.
One a day and perhaps a second a few times a week, every other day.

It isn’t cheap. And they stink! Must be why he likes them so much.

Was looking for a photo in my phone of something totally not dog related and came across these.
I know I posted them on here back when but have no idea where anymore.

We were at my moms house trying to get Rocky to swim, or at least get onto the second step, lol.



And at some point, he saw a cat up at the top of the yard, above that retaining wall on the fence post at the top corner and bam!

The cat took off over the fence and gone, then he saw a lizard😂


That retaining wall is 56 inches high and he stuck the landing on the upper landing.
Never touched the wall.
He impressed the hell out of me that day
Even if he was too chicken to get in the pool.😂
