What did you use to clean ears with? I see people saying baby wipes but to me it doesn’t doesn’t seem to work.

Do you mean cleaning the inside of the ear, or just cleaning the ear everywhere so it is clean for new posting?

Can you please clarify what you mean by "it doesn't work"?

Yes sorry; as in the edges where the stitches are. It’s 3 days since he got his ears cropped. Just don’t want them to get infected.

We use baby wipes for the upper ears and TrizUltra +Keto on qtips to clean up the inner ear. Granted we got our girl after stitches were out so not quite the same

It is best to not clean the edges that soon after crop. The ear needs the scab to hesl. Leave them alone until the sutures are out. Then you can clean the edges with chlorhexadine scrub diluted in water. Also, it’s best to not apply neosporin or any topical antibiotic cream to the inscision while the sutures are in. Doing so causes suture scars and the ear can have some deformaties as a result. To clean the inner ear and flap, a good veterinary ear cleaner like Dechra EpiKlean is meant for ears and works well.

Thank you for the response, we will wait until the sutures are out.
