Ragnar had the same. Such a slob when eating.

Wiped his chin after feeding stopped it for us.

My dude had this really bad, I started using wipes but it only helped a little bit. He got a staph infection in his paws and the anti biotics given for that ended up clearing all the acne up as well. However, I give a good wipe now after every meal.

Buddy had the same thing. He is a rigorous eater. I used hydrogen peroxide because of course alcohol would have burned. He was the first dobe I've had with this problem. Our vet said it can be common with dobermans. I guess the biggest thing is to keep it clean and make sure no infection occurs. Thank you for asking. From reading the post it is more common than I thought, vet was right again. My Buddy is a gas.

Wash chin and clean after every meal. Apply on his chin warm compress 3-4x's a day. Wash bowls (food and water) every day. Can also spray on Colloidal Silver on his chin.
Also wash any rubber or plastic toys.
