Just a note of interest. Sasha has always been a picky eater. She likes her toppings and snacks, but can usually be encouraged to eat her regular kibble twice daily. Victor was working well for us, and she was turning into a bit of a piggie since her spay a few months back. Never overweight, but hungrier. This past couple weeks things changed. She was refusing the Victor totally. If we put a topping on, she would literally stand there and pick out every nibble of cheese, and often would put the bits of kibble on the rug by her dishes. She would eat eggs, or sardines or chicken, but it was as if the new bag of Victor was bad in some way. Note there had been a recall on another flavor of that brand recently. I finally went out and bought a small bag of the Blue Wilderness Evolutionary Diet. She loves it. Eats it immediately without snacks. I have always felt a dog will eat what it needs. I don’t have the time to pursue testing on that bag, but I truly wonder if there was something wrong with it. Anyone know of issues with this Blue? Figured that post lawsuit, they would be extra careful with their content.
