That is neat, isn't it? As someone who has housed some dogs outside for 100 years, I will just make the following suggestions... IT IS ABSOLUTELY necessary to have a lip on the bottom of the door to keep bedding inside. And also you want the door as small as possible. My poor big old Lord, you should see him getting down and crawling in his door! But he stays toasty warm in his insulated dog house year round. Also, walls really should be insulated with at least an inch of some form of insulation. Those igloo type dog houses that are thin plastic and SAY they are "insulated"? NOPEDY NOPE NOPE.
And last, should have a door. Some dogs chew, but that is where human intelligence comes in lol! You have to be smarter than the dog. My doors are metal.
