Mountain Road Hike

We went to Yoho National Park last weekend. The road to our hike trail head was snowed in so cars weren’t allowed past a certain point but you could still walk up and Kaiser loved it just the same.

I am super envious! Such beautiful country and a place Kaiser can get that all out run in! No cars is such a bonus too. That pic with Kaiser wearing his "combat gear", so serious looking.

It was 13c, 55f, which was perfect for Kaiser since he doesn’t like it too warm. Once we started walking it felt warmer for us too.

This was 2.5 hours drive to Field, BC. Takakkaw Falls. The place we wanted to hike was closed for some private event so we ended up driving farther out than planned just to do a new hike. Then this place ended up having the road snowed out at the top lol. Glad we ‘hiked’ the road anyway. It was a different way to experience nature.

Here’s the snowed out road where we turned back. Other hikers that had gone in said the snow was knee deep.
