Military Dogs Euthanized And Piled Up Like Trash After Contract Canceled

Eastern Securities or E-sec is a Limited Liability Kuwaiti established Company having the license to work and operate in Kuwait. It provides Prime Regional Security Service with all new technology integrated with organized operators.

They have military Special Forces, security guards, and military dogs. Dogs usually work for protection and explosive detection.

Lately, a Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) had a contract with the Eastern Securities company to provide them with dogs to protect and detect explosions for their oil rigs. These K9 dogs had contracts as military working dogs.

They received their training from a US company to do explosive detection at the oil drilling sites in Kuwait.

After the contract was canceled by KNBC, there were more than 140 K9 dogs with no job and were costing the company a lot in order to provide them with food and a place to stay in.

Instead of caring for the working dogs and helping them to find home, Eastern Securities took the most cost-effective option when dealing with these dogs, and decided to euthanize them. 24 to 40 killed dogs were seen in the photo that went viral on social media piled up like trash in a long passage with cages around.

The fate of the other 90 dogs remains unclear up till now. A Kuwaiti lawyer was said to have stepped in to fill a formal accusation of this animal abuse calling for a criminal investigation.

It is notable to state that each dog was paid $9,900 monthly by the security company. Once the photo went viral, dog lovers threw a backlash on the horrible brutal act and called for the remaining dogs to be sent back to the USA.

24 Working Dogs Murdered in Kuwait - Read it all before you comment.

You may have read an article detailing the murder of 24 working dogs at the hand of Eastern Securities Corporation (Contractor) in Kuwait this past weekend when their contracts were not renewed. Please understand that ESC is a Kuwaiti owned company that purchased the dogs from the United States.

They were NOT owned by the US Gov. They were owned by a Private Contractor.

The photo is circulating everywhere and out of respect for the dogs and those who would rather not see this horror, we will not post it once again here. You have likely seen it and if you just have to see it, simply do a search. It's everywhere.

MissionK9Rescue is sickened by this atrocity and actively investigating this situation both to insure justice is had and to try to bring home any remaining dogs, HOWEVER there are already inaccuracies in the stories that are being presented.

We must have the TRUTH FIRST, THEN ACTION WILL FOLLOW.

We want to assure you that we will do everything in our power to bring justice to the contractor and anyone else complicit in this case. We WILL NOT put ANYONE or ANY COMPANY under the bus UNTIL we absolutely know the truth because of the current inaccuracies.

We hope that this grim reality of what CAN HAPPEN will motivate you to give the next time we present an urgent transportation need. So many of you give regularly and we are so grateful, yet some people always want someone else to be the one to give or suggest that the contractor has the funds, etc... you can see just how untrue that is in this case.

These were AMERICAN WORKING DOGS - CWD's serving in a foreign land. They did not ask for what they received and it is a travesty.

We will work tirelessly and are using ALL our high level contacts at home and abroad to bring justice for these 24 dogs. This should never happen again and it is our hope that we can make a difference in this senseless act.

MISSIONK9 was the ONLY organization to EVER get dogs released from this contractor.

    Many organizations like to TALK.

Many write compelling stories and ask for money.

We WALKED THE WALK and BROUGHT DOGS HOME!

These brave dogs were the only dogs to be rescued from the contractor that slaughtered 24 Contract Working Dogs this past weekend.

MissionK9Rescue was the ONLY organization to get them to release some dogs into our care in 2014 and now they all have forever homes.

They were in BAD CONDITION when they arrived. We spent thousands on their transportation and care.

We want the opportunity when others are found ALIVE to bring them home too.

We need donations now, not argument, blame, or buck passing.

    Action starts with YOU!

Be the difference that helps us get more dogs home when we find them!

The Government will not pay, The Contractor will not pay - it is up to all of us to help more come home when we locate them.

These donations go to our transport fund and will be used to help ANY Working Dog that needs transportation. This will not be limited to the Kuwaiti dogs however they have first priority when and if we are able to win their release.

    Thank you SO MUCH! "
