Keeping posts dry in rain?

We have had a lot of rainy weather lately. What is the best way to wrap the posts so they don't get wet? I've been using saran wrap but that doesn't always work? Trash bag maybe and tie it around her neck?

LOL, I improvised a shower cap with elastic under the chin. I haven't that that bad a case of the giggles since then (aside from when hubby almost kissed Albert on the mouth instead of me) but it did the job. I don't think there's a lot you can do that doesn't look silly but those are the things we do to make sure those ears get the right aftercare.

I made my own covers out of Ziplock bags, duct tape, and velcro. My town has a ban on plastic bags, so everything around here is paper (even local towns). Keeping them dry in RI during the rainy season has been a challenge and imo, the worst part of posting..

Hmmm never thought of the velcro. I use a ziploc bag (I think quart size) and a mini bundgie cord. Just have to make sure the little hook is above the zip part. A friend in OK uses Press-n-seal clear wrap.

I used the press and seal plastic wrap twice. My guy shook it off easily. Honestly, I like to build and make things so it was more of a project to me. Yeah, I'm weird XD
