I would like everyone to meet Koko who was adopted from rescue in 2007 by her Mom Sandra. This little girl has really been through the wringer! She battles separation anxiety, diarrhea, vomiting, excessive gas that could cause a deadly bloat problem. Now diagnosed with possible Addison's disease, hypothyroidism, pancreatic insufficiency, possible Wobblers, spay incontinence and possibly even diabetes. Not to mention the meds for Addison's and hypothyroidism contraindicate each other. WHEW! She was taken to the ER last weekend not eating and vomiting, drinking tons of water. They kept her there on IV fluids and anti-nausea medications and more lab tests - all which cost a lot of money as you can guess. Koko is home now, but still not wanting to eat which complicates matters even more. Koko needs more testing to confirm some things and/or dismiss some things. She is on lots of meds which are all very expensive.
This beautiful Party DobeGirl was a real athlete before she got sick, and we all know how frustrating that is for our dobes. She still loves chasing squirrels and playing "catch the bubbles!" She is such a typical dobe, just look into those beautiful eyes they will melt your heart! This last stint in the hospital has put Sandra in a very tough spot financially. Sandra has always told Koko " I will fix it" and Koko wags her little nub and licks Sandra's face. She certainly does not want to let her girl down this time.
So, we need to step up to the plate and do whatever we can to help Sandra "fix it" for Koko now. If you can help us "fix it", no amount is ever too small, Koko and Sandra would sure appreciate it. You can give a tax deductible donation by using the Pay Pal button or mailing in a donation. Thanks for all you do for all the great Dobes that SND helps, many are alive because of your unselfish donations.
