I had a change of heart. I was going to use Brittmoore Animal Hospital but ended up using Dr. Crouch at Grand Park Animal Clinic. I just felt like I had heard time and time again what a great ear crop Dr. Crouch does.

Dropped Zeke off at 8am this morning for his ear crop. Called about a half hour ago and was told that everything went really well. I'll be picking him up at 4:30 today.

I will post pictures. Stay tuned.

He looks great and I like that your vet didn't tape and left the ears open to heal. Keep us posted on the progress...

Yay! Looks like a good crop and I'm so pleasantly surprised to see a vet send home a dog post-crop with the ears UP in an effective and intelligent way! The incisions are not covered, it seems. :thumbsup2: :thumbsup2: :thumbsup2: :thumbsup2: :thumbsup2:

I will try. Right now he's sleeping. As soon as I can I will.

He's really doing quite well. Just wants to play, play, play and eat.

I went to look for the backer rods at Home Depot. They only had 3/4" Will this size work?

No that's way too big for a pup. I start with 1/2" then move to 5/8" as they grow.

Do you have a Lowe's? I know they carry a ton of sizes and it looks like the foam hair rollers are a great idea too as long as the dimension is right.
