I meant to start doing Olive monthly too but I forgot to weigh her last week when she turned 8 months...

2/23/23 - 8 weeks - 13.3lbs
3/5/23 - 9 weeks - 17.5lbs
3/13/23 - 10 weeks - 22.7lbs
3/23/23 - 12 weeks - 26lbs
4/13/23 - 15 weeks - 36lbs
7/17/23 - 28 weeks - 66lbs
8/9/23 - 32 weeks - 71.5lbs
9/13/23 - 37 weeks - 79lbs
11/21/23 - 47 weeks - 75.7lbs
So when he was weighed in September I realized that his waist line was starting to disappear. I started to be more mindful of how much he was eating, and he lost a little over 3lbs in 2 months. Also have been exercising a bit more now that it’s cooler out.
My question is, does he look “better” now? Too thin or ideal? Body score is a 4 according to the vet. (Long story short, we went to the vet tonight because he threw up a few times. They couldn’t figure out why, but thankfully by the time we left the vet he was mostly back to normal!)
First picture was September 30th second was November 17th. Sort of a weird angle in the first, but you can tell he was getting chubby. Thankfully his skin isn’t all dry and flaky like it was then either lol.

But it'll be a long slow burn. He will most likely look his absolute best when he is 3+ Interesting that his coat is better too!

I looked quick and couldn’t find any great side shots. Most are at an odd angle or he’s twisted to one side lol. I know I have a stacked picture from September, so I try to get a new one to compare it to. I feel like his tuck has always looked the same regardless of his weight. When I get a new picture to compare I’ll know if it’s changed.He looks great now. No more no less. Do you have a side shot comparison too? The first picture was (I believe) when the hives were finally going away. It left his skin pretty dry, but that has improved a ton with time! I hope they don’t come back but I’m curious if he’ll get them again next summer.

Not the best stacks, especially because they both have the awkward giraffe neck lol.
He looks more fit and poured into his skin in latest. Especially around the lat muscle on the ribs, and in the tuck. His croup looks nicer too. Now that you point those things out I can notice them more! At quick glance he looked exactly the same to me lol.
I feel like he’s always been a little hip high, and now I wonder if that was exaggerated by some extra fat being there.
I think he’s a much better weight now too, it’s just harder for me to see the difference from the side compared to the top view which was a more obvious difference.
