Just saw that a Doberman is going to be a contestant on America’s Top Dog tonight on A&E at 8p.m.

I hope it is better than the first doberman they had on. It was more of a pet and didn’t look very good in its performance.

I forgot that you are in a different time zone. I wanted to watch it and thought I had missed half of it because of the 8pm start time you posted. :D

Not ball driven but was quick over the ladder, barrels and the pool.

    Placed 2nd in first leg.

She's the only civilian dog. She's doing great. Best looking dog on there IMO. Go figure

I just watched that episode and was surprised by that. I guess it makes sense since they mostly do community outreach.

I'll have to wait until tonights episode is online, but I just saw the trailer... looks like April? @Gelcoater Pretty cool!

They have contacted me twice wanting me to call them about me and Blaze for next season. But I would have to teach him scent work.

Really? Was that her? I've never met her so I wouldn't know but if it was that's pretty darn cool! I watched it last night. What a beautiful Doberman!
@Doberman Gang Oh my gosh, That would be awesome if you were on there!

DO IT, DO IT!!! And besides, nose work is fun and would be totally different for Blaze than tracking.

For the dobe being a civilian and not in the ‘field of law enforcement’, I personally think she did great. It’s not easy with all the lights, distractions etc. that I am sure the Doberman isn’t exposed to on a daily training basis. Bogie is my athletic one but Bacall has a supreme nose and did extremely well in her training.
That spider web would have made me claustrophobic type anxious.
Watching her go over the barrels was exciting to watch since Dobies make it look so easy and are graceful with it.

The other dogs were close to the same breed thus pretty much moved the same.

Neat to watch how different the Doberman moved. Just more graceful and smooth, imo.

Funny how my girls were rooting for the Doberman to do well.
