DNA Kit arrived.

I was looking for the original thread on this but couldn't find it.

I just got the 2 kits for Uzi and Falkor in the mail. It took months to get here. Did everyone else get theirs?

I tried and tried to find it too, but none of my searches came up with anything. It was a study they're doing on all Dobermans (healthy or not) to learn more about certain issues they have like blanket sucking, hoarding, head bobbing, and I forget what else.

Question: I got two packages of swabs with 2 in each. Is it one package per dog (total 2 swabs)? It only says it's for Albert on the envelopes, but I assume the second one is for Della?

2 swabs per dog. Just think of it as the swabs have to be sent back in their original packaging. If you used one per dog and put them both back in the same packaging they would be contaminated.

Just done the survey and requested the kit, you never know Judith we just may get one as it does says in the blurb "We use DNA samples from dogs all over the world...." But I won't be holding my breath

Thanks Jess! I was just double checking since they send 3 separate packages with swabs for the vWD test and I didn't want to screw it up after waiting this long. LOL
