Here's a link to a recent news article about some animal legislation going on where I live. We live just outside the limits of the "City of Columbia" but people have been fighting for years to have our area annexed into the city limits.

While this specific article doesn't pertain to Dobermans, this statement leads me to worry that it could eventually get to that point:

"Council member Cameron Runyan said he already has explored how other cities control the populations of dogs known as aggressive."
There were a few sentences in the short article that were pretty amusing but the best part was one of the comments at the bottom:

"Great picture with the article! You really seemed to capture the "fear" and "aggression" associated with these monsters. Just look at that thing! Nothing says "menace to society" quite like a cow bandana and a calm, happy dog."

LOVE people who continue follow programs that have repeatedly been shown NOT to work! The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different outcome each time.

Trying something like the Calgary model that works very well would be too smart, cost effective and easy to do.

“Anytime you walk the street with a dog and the chain is big, that tells you something,” Davis said. “They’re dangerous. They fight at night – we just can’t catch them.”
Lol.. Can you say out of touch. Big chain simply means the handler has a little package, and is compensating.
