Another Thread About Retaining Canines

Flint still has his top two milk teeth canines and they are right up against his adult canines. I wiggled one a few weeks ago and it seemed like it was coming loose, but the other one felt solid. I haven't been able to grab and wiggle them lately, but I have noticed Flint chomps at the air sometimes. I am hoping he is going to lose them soon. At what point should I consider having them removed? Flint is 6 months old. January 14th he will be 7 months.

Our first one still had his canines at 7 months. Since the breeders contract said we have to neuter by 7 months (I went a bit over), I had him take them out then.
At what point should I consider having them removed?
I would give it a couple more months as long as they're not crowding or interfering with the adult.

Agree. I think mother nature takes care of most things in time. Keep an eye on it and wiggle the puppy tooth every few days. I think Asha kept one for a while and I was getting nervous about it, then one day it was just gone.
