First ever Doberman puppy - What to do when at work?

Hi there, I'll be getting my first ever Doberman puppy in two weeks. She will be an eight week old female. During the week I'm home everyday, except for Thursday and Friday when I'll be at work 9am till 5pm. I want to crate train her, but I understand 8hrs is too long to be in a crate. I was...
