euro/am breeder

I live in Europe and I am looking for a male puppy. Will be a family dog and protection dog. My biggest question and concern is who is the most reputable breeder do you think? ( mostly I'm concerned about health regarding DCM) I know this cannot be assured that a dog won't get it, but still...

This may be a dumb question, but breeders on the DPCA site all have American sires and dams, correct? At least it seemed this way on the breeders websites. I am a little partial to Euros, or atleast Euro studs, and I feel most comfortable getting a DPCA dog. So question is do any DPCA...
