Doberman guarding things in his mouth?

He is completely fine with me being near him, touching him, and touching his food and food bowl while he is eating. He doesn't care even if I push him away from his bowl and pick up his food from his bowl halfway through his meal. So no food aggression...BUT recently, there were multiple times...
