The neuter is a fairly easy surgery so he will be fine on that front. The gastropexy is a bit more invasive but the hardest part is keeping them down for the 10 or so days for recovery.
I guess if you don't have plans to show him in AKC conformation there really isn't a drawback in neutering...
We don't eat watermelon so I don't bother buying any for just the dogs. I know for sure Olive would eat it but I'm not so sure about Elroy. We had one odd cuke out of the garden where one slice was too bitter to eat and the next was really good. We've run into that before if they weren't peeled...
Speaking of uniforms or logos, Albert got to meet nemesis UPS guy up close and personal in our dining room. He had finished his shift and stopped in for a beer.
I'm so glad he's doing well with you!
I can't wait to hear the DNA results either but I agree on Doberman, some greyhound and whatever else I said in the thread you introduced him in.
Yes CPE is pretty big in this area and the dog training club does hold matches a few times per year. Not just nosework, but agility and other performance events.
I was more questioning it since it's a new member coming in advertising his stud without even and introduction post.
The main idea is to keep members here without having to go to another site to find the info that could be here.
I am not showing interest since like I said, I don't have a breeding female. I am asking as the owner of this board that you provide more info here so any other members can easily see it at a glance instead of having to look it up.
We had to travel for a family funeral today so my friend came over to let the dogs out and spend some time with them.
She sent me this one while we were still up there and I love how comfortable they are with her. In fact she's the only one I trust with them.
Bad photo since the sun was exactly in the wrong position but there were two hawks out here going after blue jays for a few hours this morning. Of course I was cheering the hawks on hoping they drive the darn blue jays out of here for the winter. Have I mentioned that I hate blue jays? LOL
