That's awesome and it does indeed take a lot of work! :congrats:

It's a good idea in general but when you have things like DCM or cancer to worry about I don't think it would help a good share of dog breeds.

Oh lots of people hunt them and it is delicious. Hubby would start but we've been waiting for the population to come up in this area. I'm not sure what happened to our boy Harold since he was hanging out this spring, then disappeared all of a sudden. He stayed here all summer last year, even...

Fun! Who was the other Doberman?

AKC allows owner/handlers too but in many cases the competitors are not helpful at all and it's not a welcoming environment if you don't at least know someone in the "in crowd". UDC was formed in part because AKC didn't allow bite sports.

But as far as I know the AKC president is a Doberman owner so it should be understood that all breeds vary.

I'm never gotten why AKC doesn't allow altered dogs in conformation. UKC welcomes it and it's a good reflection on a breeder too when they are proven to have correct conformation.

I think it's a good idea but the list of breeds isn't very long yet. List of participating breeds, click on the breed name to view parent club program guidelines. Golden Retriever West Highland White Terrier Leonberger Dogo Argentino Bracco Italiano Other parent clubs that are interested...

I shared it for both of our dogs when we filled out the info for DDP. I have looked up a couple pairings between Elroy and Euro girls and the pairings did bring the COI way down.

And what a perfect model!

And that is a heart warming picture.

I know it worked really well for Elroy too when you let us borrow yours for the ATT evaluation. Oof I can't even imagine. We used to get our water from a spring down the road too when I was young and that was using big milk cans and putting it in the back of the car or truck. We still have an...

I went on a limb and bought a new fluffy ball for Elroy yesterday at Walmart since they're only $5. They are way bigger than a GoDog or Cycle Dog ball and of course the price is a fraction of the others. It probably won't last with the little black shark but I thought it was worth a try and...

I still see quite a few with that same crop. Some still use the "cookie cutter" form for cropping and that's what they look like with the wide bell and shorter crop.

I wouldn't mind it if we had those squirrels here or really anything other than those red tree rats. They have grey squirrels in town but apparently our habitat isn't right out here here. I have seen a black one in town and several albinos in town but it's been a while.

I didn't realize there were different types. The only time I've ever seen any is when I ordered them but I never saw them again after that. I've never seen a roadrunner in my life either so I assumed they were huge like the cartoon makes them out to be. LOL

I like Cinder for a name! I'm glad she's happy and settling in so nicely.

Just another photo of Olive on her "chair" today.

It can't be called spam when we all want to see it. Looks like a great time!
