Have never ever had a Doberman of mine break a Herm Sprenger Pinch collar and they literally last forever. Link chokers I have seen break enough to never use one again.

You already said that the tests on young dogs being bred likely won't show anything anyway. I wonder if your 'responsible' breeder has a clause in the contract that explicitly states that all of those tests on the parents guarantee nothing.

You are more or less suggesting / telling me to require that sort of testing from a 'responsible breeder' and at the same time telling me that those tests only tell a person what is the current state of the dog being tested at that EXACT moment in time is and that there is no 'guarantee' about...

Pretty sure I am not the only one here that has never used one and likely never will. Not what I would consider 'required' for training most Dobermans.
