That's so scary...I'm so glad Freyja is feeling better! I had that happen last year to my older dog (16 years) she kept pooping bloody diarrhea, vets said it was a pancreatitis caused by god knows what, and wouldn't make it out alive...well, here she is, napping under our living room table!

You've already got good advice from @Kaiser2016 and @Ddski5, and I would do the same. Feed them apart (even treats) and don't let toys be around, it's not worth the risk. And always monitor their time together, you never know what could happen with a teenage dog around.
