You can torbot the upper 2/3 of the post. And torbot the backside of the ear also, just shave the back of the ear before hand if you’re worried about ripping out hair.

Most working line breeders I follow periodically breed in a show line dog. Or stud out one of their males to a showline breeder. So I think conformation is on their mind not with every litter but enough to show me they are aware of the importance of looks and conformation.
