    Yay! Way to go!

    Dog parks

I don't know how anyone can watch that video - even without the dogfight - and think dog parks are a good thing. You couldn't pay me to turn my dog loose in that mess! I think because most parks have a large dog area & small dog area, when you look at large dogs you'll see more working breeds in...

    Ragnar and Freyja

Thanks for the update! Beautiful photos, puppy-look is all gone on Freyja! Yeah, Asha got introduced to the e-collar when she just couldn't stop pestering Reckless. And if I got on to Asha, Reckless always thought she was in trouble too (plus Asha didn't even care if she got corrected). E-collar...

    Rubie in Barn Hunt

That sounds like an awful thing to have to witness. But also I agree that going forward and doing fun work with Rubie would be the best thing for both of you. That's a beautiful photo of her, captures a very thoughtful look.

    Why Title?

Hit me the same way. 🥲 smiles but made my eyes a little leaky.

    Health screening

We have a couple of members here from UK, hopefully they will chime in? @PhilT & @Viemarangelrock may know. Here in the US I had a DNA test done (easy, just a saliva swab to send off) through Embark / Doberman Diversity Project, then there are other tests that must be done - x-ray for...

Especially health tests and especially heart tests. Find and look at Cause of Death in both pedigrees. You might be surprised how many are dying as young as 4 - 8 years old. This is hereditary. Don't breed because you like your dog, breed when you feel like you can produce a better Doberman.

    Why Title?

I know it's not for everyone, and no offense at those who don't show or title their dogs, but I came across this today and thought I'd share it here: Why title a dog? Not just a brag, not just a stepping stone to a higher title, not just an adjunct to competitive scores, a title is a tribute...

A Peek at How Relevant Bite Sport Is To Actual Protection

Interesting video, basically looks like they're trying to make fun of their buddy who spend a hefty amount of money for a sport dog. From a training standpoint, Schutzhund & Personal Protection are two different things. The Mal looks like a well trained SchH dog who knew the difference in a...

    Ear posting

Good advice above. Up your learning curve even more by reading all the posts under PUPPIES forum here that have to do with ears & problems with posting. It takes lots of practice, but the very important basics were covered by @Gpcoguy & @Oh Little Oji. Keep reading & keep learning, keep asking...

Critters and wildlife in your area - post your pics

I think Skynyrd is thinking same as me: "I've never in my life seen a duck on a high line!"

    Airplane ears when relaxed.

Yes, the best standing ears can go airplane mode when relaxed, shouldn't be worried unless they are flopping at odd times when she's alert, or if one is airplane and the other is erect.

    Obedience training

12 weeks is still very very young! Patience with everything, including the potty training! He will have to pee many times a day, and a couple of times at night as well. This is your duty to take him outside instantly after a play session, after waking from a nap, after eating, and every 3 hours...

    Elevated Liver

I don't have any answers for you. I'd ask for a copy of the blood work results, they should be able to email it to you. How old is Brooke? If she had this done as a routine yearly, how do the numbers compare to her other results?

    Eating Rocks!

Do be aware that some will eat mulch and can that can be just as bad, plus some of the decorative mulches are chemically treated. If you can't watch him, I'd go the muzzle route or hand walk for potty time at least until he's older. Those photos show a happy looking family! Best of luck to you.
