Phoebe has Peritonitis

after this vet confers with the U she'll let us know if we can up her feedings to try to get some of the weight back on her.
They were extremely please with her numbers at the U and now said to switch her over the Hill's k/d. This is right after we spent $110 on a bag of i/d that they recommended at first. I hate Hills but if it helps we'll do it.

Hills has it's place when it comes to treating things. We fed Ripley one of their diets to help with gas and upset stomach. She did well on it while she recovered and re-gained her appetite back. I'm guessing k/d is for kidney support.

I have not been on here in awhile, so very sorry Jan!!! Your Phoebe looks wonderful now that she is at home.....crying as I have been reading this thread...I have been through horrible things with these beloved Dobes, that it just brings it all back when reading someone going through a health scare :coldsweat:. Praying for you all.
