The cats don't care for Ripley but Sammy is much more ballsy around her, very willing to stand her ground and tell Ripley off. I think she was trying to send a message to Ripley here. Or maybe that message was "I've made a grave mistake"

I have always found Tuxies to be fearless and very good at making their point known.
Such a great picture!!

This is weird. This is Cooper's grave who died in 2017. It's under a tree so grass or anything else never grows on it. I saw this growth today and have no idea what it is (in northwest NJ). It over his head. Everything else is dead and brown for the winter and this looks like it's spring.

Amazing....I see it as a sign as well  Reminder of the greatness of what once was....

Perfectly happy until I put the booties on. Too bad I can’t take him to the park until I am done with quarantine. This is a new fleece I got off Etsy. Really wanted to try the booties in the snow.

Just a quick update about Otto our sons dog we've been looking, after some recent problems I've had with my knee I will be having knee replacement surgery in a few months, and it has been difficult to spend enough time that is required to properly exercise and care for Otto, it has been decided to rehome him so he can have a better stable life, it's very sad but we think it will be the best thing for him, none off the things that have happened are his fault and it is not fair on him not to have a more stable life, we have found him a home with the lady who has been helping out with his training assistance , he will be going to have a new home with a very nice lady who last year lost her last dog to old age (16yrs old), it was a collie x retriever the same as Otto she has spent a couple off days getting to know him and has joined me on walks with him, she will be home with him all the time and is in to dog agility training, she also has a very large plot off land for him to play in, she runs dog agility classes so Otto will have lots off things to keep him occupied and other dogs to play with, it wasn't a very easy decision for our son and us but we must do what's best for Otto.

Been taking it easy on formal obedience in public for a while to ease pressure off of us both and relax by finding other ways to bond with things like Nosework and Agility. Now that she's had some time to mentally grow up a little, we are back at it and we're determined! Going for our CGCA. She was such a good girl at class and will only get better with the time we'll be putting in. 🥰

Our "classroom" for the next 6 weeks.

Bettin' that's easy-peasy when you do it! Your girl is way good.
Thanks! She's going to be much better for this than the 6-8 month version of her doing the CGC. 😂 We are in good hands! Our trainer/evaluator first thing stated in class was to advocate for your dog and we will be saying No to people that desire to greet them. That's the hardest thing for her (mostly women and children) and she's already doing so well. I was worried because first thing she did when we went in was stare at a man, who stared back and she popped off a deep howling bark. 🤦‍♀️ Great! She did so good the rest of the class though! I went to a very busy PetSmart later today and plopped her right in the middle of the main aisle for a 3+ min down stay. Puppies were staring at her and she looked back but then looked at me after a few seconds for that check in treat. A little boy was talking to her and she immediately checked in with me. No whining! (Huge for her...why are they SO vocal?!) Did that a few times in different spots with people and dogs walking around. Very good girl...like theres actually a working brain there 😅

Awesome. Asha is better at not whining until I get out of sight. And even then, it's better, but as I press into 10 minutes it rears it's ugly head. I presume you were pretty close for this public down-stay.

I had to do a double-take at your photo - the black jacket makes her look like she's half Shar Pei!!!
