If you have to change it every day because he is scratching or pulling out then one or two things is going on.
1. They are not fully seated in the ear and it is very bothersome to him.
2. He is not use to them being in ear and is being a little shit and wanting them out.
Solution for #1.
Go back to the first page. The post that
@Kaiser2016 and myself made are the solutions for this reason.
Solution for #2.
After posting, you have to get his attention off his ears/post. Take him for a walk, play tug, mental games, hide/seek, pit out pieces of kibble all around the house and have him track them down and eat. ANYTHING to get his mind/focus off the post.
If the post are in correctly and if you keep his focus off them for a bit, eventually he will forget about them and he will get use to them being in his ears. He will forget they are there. The issue that I see on the forum is that new members leave the ears out of post too long and the pup gets used to having “free” ears. Then when put back in post, it feels foreign again and the pup has a learned response of not wanting to tolerate it. It becomes a harder and harder issue to over come everytime.
That’s one of the reasons I would only leave ears out of post for just one hour.
