Believe it or not, these ones are nowhere near as crazy as most of the "doodles" at the day care, and even a lot of other dogs. But they definitely require exercise, something we all are already familiar with! I've also met a few waiting tables and there hasn't been one I haven't liked. It has been an eye opener being around so many dogs with all different breeds and characters, most of them I adore but there are a few that are a PITA and I wonder why anyone would want them. The seniors are my favorites, and I feel for a couple of the dogs that are there more often than they are at home. I've been told this is one of the nicer boarding places but you can tell they all get tired of being there and just want to go home. Some have fun playing but IMO a lot of them are overwhelmed by it. It kind of reminds me of jail, it's all concrete and sterile, nothing fun to do (no treats or toys) and nowhere soft to lay down. When I do sit down I get bombarded, lol. The smaller dogs immediately climb into my lap and the others crowd around me and lean. Also, Odyssey is a kindred spirit with the fishing Viszla. She will peruse the shallows with her front paws, eyes down, hunting fish for hours. She's even caught a few.
