gawd parvo just breaks my heart how it takes all the weight off these puppies! i am so happy he is doing well though. How long do you think it took for him to recover? I know you just told us but it seems like he turned around quick which is awesome.

off topic a bit.......did the vet say anything about his right front leg? something odd going on with that joint. I am glad he is feeling better!
way way long ago when I was 15 I had a dobe mix pup who got parvo.I cant tell you how long I stayed up nursing that pup.at that time I had never even heard of parvo. it was truley heartbreaking and I will never forget it. my puppy died........parvo just happens so fast. by the time I got my pup to the vet it was too late. now I am a nut job when a pup is in my home. I do not bring them out and about untill after the 3rd set of shots.....and even then I restrict where I go with the pup. my daughters and all who come in my home have to step into the bleach pan before walking into my home...also must wash up to the elbows before touching my puppy.and thats with my house on lockdown lol! I dont have too many visitors while the puppy is small......I also dont put my puppy down when in the vets. she is in my arms or in a crate and I will not allow her on a area anouther pet may have gone. yup......I am a overprotective mom now 30 years after little ginger died in my arms.I have never had another pup get parvo thank goodness!
