Thanks Genny, it looks a little better today. We will keep an eye on it.Looks like a histiocytoma to me. If it is, the good news is they usually go away on their own.

No luck yet on finding a vet I feel comfortable with. There is really no one else to try in the immediate area. That's what I'd do, watch it. If it gets bigger, I'd take him in for a needle aspiration. Were you able to find a Vet yet?

If she finds someone please let me know. Most people around here seem to like the vet in Warsaw. I think the main reason is because they are cheap. Its like a walk in clinic, no appointments and office visits are just $20.00. I tried them once when I was dealing with Preacher's allergy problems. The vet said generally when a dog has skin problems its best to just put them down. That was the last time I will go there. That's too bad. I have a friend in Knob Noster (not too terribly far) that has a dobie. Want me to ask her who she uses?

She happened to call last night so I asked her. She said she likes Dr. Trisha at Flat Creek Veterinary Hospital.

It's her availability that concerns me. She is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays along with just being open a half a day on Saturdays.
