The Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar

@Kaiser2016 Thanks for pulling this thread up. Have just had a very informative read, and am more than happy to keep Jazz on ACV. She might even get to accept the taste better after a while. Meanwhile sneaking it into a small dollop of plain lactose free yoghurt shouldn't be a drama, and she REALLY likes yoghurt!

I tried drinking this in water ONCE...I had to clean it off my kitchen wall where I spit it.
It is awful and the pucker you are stuck with until the taste leaves your mouth is atrocious.:wtf:

Unsweetened juice of some kind works, but did read a good mix further back in this thread, but something I'm not familiar with so probably unavailable in Australia. Good point about the butt licking, which is something that comes immediately to mind when Jazz manages to get a sneaky face lick in. :green:

I use Apple Juice, just a little glass of it so that I can get it all down in one swallow. I agree the smell and taste is quite funky!

I've been swigging some daily for probably a year or two now. At first, I measured out a tablespoon or two, but now, like I said, I just do a couple swigs. I do chase it immediately with water, as I worry about exposing the throat daily to such harshness.

One benefit I read about was that it lowers blood sugar, and since I have developed a dark chocolate habit in the evenings I wonder (hope) it helps mitigate that. I don't know.

I used it once to overcome anal itching on the advice of an old but unfortunately, it didn't work. Then, my vet's medicine worked and my dog got relief. But I am not saying apple cider doesn't have advantages even many fatty people use it to shed off weight. Just sharing my experience.
