Favorite brand of prong collars

I'm looking for some new prong collars. I finally found Princess' old one (after our cross country move) but of course I can't find the spare links. It's a Sprenger. Should I stay with this brand - what is your favorite?

I've only ever used one- herm sprenger, but I love it. it was very highly recommended to me, and I love the quality of it.

Thanks! I guess I'll stay with the brand. Also, I think I probably was not using it correctly, are there videos or dvds that you could recommend for proper use.

Look up www.Leerburg.com they have videos and others on the proper way to fit a prong. Also to use a backup thin choker or dominant dog collar they have. Click on Video On Demand then in the search box just put in How to Fit a Prong Collar. But he doesn't like the ones with quick release latches!
It should not slide on over the dogs head, it should fit snug, the highest it will go on the neck. Just behind the ears going under the jaw. Dobes don't have long hair so it still might slide down.

I use the Leerburg site. I just wasn't sure if there was anything else out there. ( I purchased my e collar and his DVD from there). Thanks again.

I also found my old HS. I was thinking of getting a new one since mine doesn't have the spacer at the front, but we have some time before we can use it anyhow. :)

I like Sprengers too. And like Jan, I prefer the narrower links. You might have to buy extra links with the narrow link collar, but it's worth it to get the size right.

I always stick to the small prongs, too. Just buy more links. Only other brand I have used is the hidden prong collars, but they don't give you the same correction.
