for all of you that are feeling the heat , some winter pictures that may cool you down

Just thought these might help cool you all down :cold:, it's on the news here UK about the heat over there in the mid west , these were taken last February all within five minutes from my house , Bella just love's the snow she would walk for miles in it i don't mind it but usually always end up on my arse :bump:.

:wow:119 that must be hotter than the place this person lives:devil: , no kidding i just could not live in that heat it must be so draining :thumbdown:

Your pics did provide some relief from this heatwave even if psychologically ;) It's still hot.

What does it say on the stone behind the bench? I looked at the pic as large as I could make it but still couldn't read it.
 
I did get a bit of a chill. LOL. The thing is as soon as we don't have above 100 degree weather it's going to be sub zero instead. Argh. From one extreme to the other.

Ingrid H , there was a big mining community here in the eighteen and nineteen hundreds so we have alot of monuments etc to remember them and this seat is just one of them , this track for walking and cycling used to be the railway lines that carried all the coal and iron ore , when the mines closed they took all the rail lines up and made them into these walking paths, the sign says

" From one shaft at Cleator moor
they mined for coal and iron ore
This harvest below ground could show
blackcurrants and red currants
on one tree"
