Of the things you listed (which I agree with), I just love the way my girl looks at me, uses different barks to tell me what she wants.and how she adjusts to all situations.
Gr8 looking pup. I bgt my girl 675 miles away drove and had a small crate. Put her on the seat next to me and she slept for 2 hrs. She woke up looked at me for a cpl of minutes and moved on to the console while putting her head in the crook of my arm. We looked at each other and knew we both...
I switched my girl to Costco salmon and sweet potatoe at 10 and she has done fine ...now over 3. I also add an egg 2×/wk, 1T olive oil 4×/wk , cheese 4x/wk, or peas a few x/ wk. Never a problem
My girl is off leash in a place I walk often and she grabbed a whole chicken wing ( skin too) and ate it before I could get to her. Needless to say I was worried she'd choke or have the runs... lucky nothing happened. But I still will be vigilant I bone and she could choke
A DOBERMAN is the only dog that has ever been bred for personal protection. Henry protects you, ur husband , his territory and which parts of the apartment is his responsibility. If it were me in that situation I would get a prong collar (learn how to use it). Have Henry at sit and stay in...
My Girl, Raven w/b 3 in April and she has exceeded my expectations in every way. BTW is this my 3rd Dobie. Smart, sweet, not skittish, alert, wonderful with people, and yet all Dobie. Oh and gorgeous !
I agree her ears look gr8 and she will grow into them as mine girl did. Hard to really know when the cartilage is strong enough until u leave out posts. I began removing posts at 5 1/2 months and noticed just slight weakness near tips, 2/3 wks of breathe right strips at the top did the trick.
My vet put my girl on Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein($$$) and said that was her choice (with no meds). She also said some dobies always have loose stool and hopefully she'll out grow it. At about 12 months I weened her off very slowly and her stomach adapted. Good luck
Yes ,a handsome boy. I know it's difficult however, I would keep in the crate with very little room to maneuver and when u take him out right outside. I would also after feeding wait about 10 min and outside and once he goes good boy and a lot of touching when saying good boy does wonders for...
