I decided on a different breed of dog, I think I would love to own a doberman in the future but right now I don't think I can own a super high energy dog like a doberman and train it's replacement if it fails as an assitance dog
I know with mobility work you need larger dogs, I have to wear shoes for my ankles that make me taller so other dogs are to small. I am also considering german shepherds but they have alot of fur and grooming needs. I have alot of time for training/walking or enrichment stuff
Another bit to add, I mainly need help walking in rural areas and do not need/want help from random people so I don't mind the intimidating appearance of dobermans
