So far, very "yes." Many of the charity rescue flight orgs specifcally state their mission is to transport rescues from high-supply CA and the southern states to higher demand/lower supply northern. Car/truck or plane? If plane, is CA-->KS likely in his range?

It would likely be two or three days in a crate (Rockies in-between). IMHO, far too long/stressful/depressing for a big, young, energetic (male) dog.
