Thx. Even good quality no kill shelters are emotionally taxing for dogs. Our experience with shelters is they don’t really eval how well the owner is matched to the breed, they just make sure the dog is “ok” with the person.

Sorry to hear of their loss! Beorn’s a great boy and loves to be with his person. Not sure if your acquaintance would want to fly out here but he’s fairly chill outside of play mode.
